We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

They're reporting that Jeudy struggled with drops today in practice.

    lol

Let's not rush to judgement - it's only been three years worth of drops.

I truly hope he goes out and has a monster season, and this is the last time it ever gets mentioned. . . but yeah. It's quite frustrating. The dude has SO much talent, but the consistency still isn't there. That sequence against Arizona was a microcosm of who he is. Drops an easy one on third down, then makes a sweet play for a touchdown 45 seconds later. Unfortunately, you aren't always going to get another chance like that. It's going to be tough for them to justify the huge extension he'll undoubtedly want if they can't rely on him to consistently catch the ball.

maybe he is just a late bloomer lol.....albert O is Talented TE who cant consistently catch been his MO his whole time here. Sounds like a WR we have as well

If albert O is finally making a push with Payton though that's a good sign.

I don't think Jeudy is all that talented. He is very explosive and quick in and out of his breaks which makes him a very good route runner but he's basically the same guy that he was in the draft.

He's not talented with his hands because he's never learned to extend to the ball but instead body catches it which is why he's routinely one of the worst WRs on the team in catch rate.

He's not talented with his upper body because he still gets bodied and jammed easily either in route or off the line.

But I'm with you, I hope he has a monster season so we can trade him in the offseason for a 1st or 2nd.

Default Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy carted off with hamstring injury

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Denver Broncos top receiver Jerry Jeudy was carted off the field with a right hamstring injury after pulling up during an 11-on-11 play against the Los Angeles Rams in a joint practice Thursday.

Coach Sean Payton said after the practice that Jeudy would undergo an MRI.

Jeudy was running an end-around when he pulled up near the right sideline and grabbed his right hamstring. He needed help getting to the cart.

Jeudy has more injuries than TDs.

It was only a matter of time.
