Default I'm tring to wind down after a nieghbor's appartment caugt fire.

Everybody got out safe and my apartment was far enough away that I was never in danger. The resident of the apartment directly above the one on fire look like she might have been in serious danger, but she was able to be directed to safty.

At about 3 AM AZ time, I had just finished chapter 5 of a book that I've been writing and was about to start on chapter 6. Then I started hearing yelling outside and thought, "more nieghbors fight again." Except it seemed way more intense. I looked out the window and saw a guy talking on the phone with a sence of ergentcy. So I opened my door and could hear people yelling, "fire, fire, get out."

I joined the efforts to wake everybody in the apartments near the fire. Because I just moved in last Saturday so others told me which apartments occupants were still unaccounted for so I could bang on their windows. The firehouse is only about a mile down the street so they showed up before we had finished clearing all of the rooms.

I tried to go back to writing my book, but my brain is just racing way to much.

Glad to see everything is ok!

I'll make this quick, when my wife and I first got married (96) we lived in a duplex with our newborn son in Utah. Our neighbor decided around 0200 to boil a bone for his dog. The numbnut ended up falling asleep, water evaporated and the pot ended up in flames. Around 0330, I woke up to a fireman knocking on the door to make sure our place was ok. I wanted to kill the guy for being such an idiot and wonder what made this fella boil a bone at 0200 in the morning. Anyway, glad to see everything is ok and be safe.

My guess would be drug/alcohol induced.

Wow that's nuts. The neighbor of a friend of my girl's house caught fire out in Glendale yesterday.

I lol'ed only because you just said before that that you're writing a book. Guess that's what editors are for.
