Default Le'Veon Bell, LeGarrette Blount taken into custody

The Pittsburgh Steelers backfield could be facing legal trouble.

Detective Brian Kohlhepp of the Ross Township, Pennsylvania Police Department confirmed to NFL Media that running backs Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount were pulled over Wednesday around 1:30 p.m. ET. They, along with an unidentified female passenger in the backseat, were taken into custody and admitted to marijuana possession.

"We are aware of the reports and still gathering information," said Burt Lauten, communications coordinator of the Steelers. "We will have no further comment at this time."

With a name like Blount, was there any doubt?

hope they both get bans - i thought the steelers were a certainty for their division - and potentially a decent run in the play offs

I think anything enjoyable can be addicting. Like masturbation.

There is habit forming and there is addiction. There is no PHYSICAL addiction to smoking (or ingesting MJ) its purely psychological - alcohol, Rx drugs and cigs - PHYSICALLY addicting - your body goes through physical withdraw symptoms

I have had to stop smoking MJ on several occasions for lengthy periods of time and had absolutely no problem quitting when I needed to - it was annoying but I didnt suffer any physical ills whatsoever.

When I decided to get off psycho meds the dr had me on (and the ones I was getting on my own) I was physically ill for 3 days while detoxing - it was horrible and I had only been taking them a little over a year - I can only imagine how bad it would be for someone who has been on them for several years.

I know alcohol has the same issues when detoxing (if you are a heavy drinker)

I agree. All Season long, and the Steelers should forfeit draft picks too. Why? They are the Steelers. Almost as loathesome as Oakland. Don't talk to me about fair. Screw them
