Not shocked. That's usually what happens when we have this massive "recovery" bills. And the government will tell us that this is what we, as Americans, need to deal with for the greater good.

those 1,400 checks wont be able to buy groceries if this keeps up.

What the admin needs to do is stop all these $6 trillion spending sprees immediately.

I've been reading some about this, apparently this is slightly misleading since it's being compared to lockdown 12 months ago when the economy was in the dumpster. Apparently the microchip shortage jacking up car prices is also having a non-negligible effect on this. I feel like comparing any economic figure to the beginning of the pandemic should be taken with a grain of salt. That's not to say this is a non issue, but calling us "Amerizuela" is ridiculous hyperbole.

Regarding those checks: there wasn't much of a choice.

Regarding inflation: it's a complicated matter. Keynes is the authority on it. I'd recommend his works to anyone.

This is great news for Cryptos, sorry. I expect the markets to trend higher if this is the case.

    Yes and no.

They need to get their heads out of their asses thats for sure, but we all know that is never going to happen. Just printing up magic money is not going to help. That said, there are a ton of people that the country has forgotten about and the cdc has a vendetta against that desperately need some of that trillion.
