Who threw a TD to Elway during Denver's 1986 season opening win against the Raiders.

    Sorry, I cheated
Elway also scored on an 11-yard run and a 23-yard pass reception from Steve Sewell that is the longest TD catch by a full-time starting QB in NFL history.

I watched that game at the home of my best friend, who was a Raiders fan. In the 1st quarter, it looked like we were going to get blown out of our own stadium. And he was rubbing my nose in it That TD pass to Elway help turn the momentum in the 2nd quarter. The strip of Marcus Allen sealed the deal.

In fact, probably 90% of my correct answers to football trivia questions from there.

Also known as the receiving corps that ditched practice during the week leading up to SB XXIV in order to make a music video. Then they drop every pass that Elway through their way during the big game.

Okay, this is one I am not so sure of.

But without any research, I'm going to say Karl Mecklenburg.

How many other 12th round are considered greats for any team? Pretty short list.

Kubes started 5 games, with a record in those games of 3-2.

Most memorable to me was his win over the Raiders in 1984, in which he threw
2 TD passes in the 4th quarter, coming from being down 19-6 to win it in OT,
    22-19. Pretty exciting time . . .
