I let my parents use my car (their car is in the shop and their other one had a flat this morning) so the could go out of town so I'm stuck at home.

Soooo I ordered Round Table but not pizza.

Ham Club Sandwhich, Chicken Club sandwich (for lunch tomorrow) and hot wings.

I've had figs before, one of my tenants gave them to me for lunch once a week when my office was in Arvada. Just never heard of them dried.

This is what happens when you're ******* Italian and you become an empty nest. I have 1 kid home today and ended up with 2 panfuls of baked rigatoni ready to go in the oven. One of these days I'll figure how to cook a small meal.
    Overnight to NOLA?

GEM, you have your own harem here of boys to feed you figs while others wave palm fronds.

I expect you to use this knowledge.

    PS...Turkish.

It turned out to be the best baked rigatoni I've made. Got some deep purple garlic and green peppers from the farmers market. Holy yum!

It's so good! Grown here in CO and it's the best garlic I've ever cooked with. I was doing the old Goodfellas, slicing the garlic with a blade yesterday. Friggen heaven!

hell yea! i've been getting the purple garlic at natural grocers, but they never said where it was grown. . . FTR, hawggie, it's just the skin. . . i wonder if it's something to do with our soil, because the garlic i grew in my garden always had a purplish color to it as well. . .
