I'm super excited to get it started again. I'm putting real effort and money into it this time. I took time off in between and have started to grow on twitter and I actually feel like this time I might be able to get something going.

    Good luck in your endeavors!

I bought my setup, not to play video games, but to try and actually concentrate on making a game. Been tinkering for years. Hopefully now that I have invested a lot of cash into software and equipment, I will actually sit down and do it!

Here's to our expensive hobbies hopefully turning into something, but if not, ah well, they were still fun, right?

The shit that I have spent money on this year for my hobby to hopefuly turn into something:

    $1800 computer
    Gaia terrain toolset http://www.procedural-worlds.com/gaia/
    Atavism mmo kit https://atavismonline.com/

I am probably out of excuses for getting shit done, which is good because I am also out of money.

That's exciting. I can understand the pull.

That's the desk I built for my room. Going to be rather nice, it's also high enough off the ground I can raise my monitor up and stand if I want to.

Yea it actually went really smoothly. Finally got stuff downloaded yesterday, spent the day playing Call of Duty Warzone and Apex and today I'm gonna check out Octopath Traveller. All in all, running smoothly! This monitor is too freaking big though... It's taking some real adjustment.

No fancy Hollywood explosions. She's running at a cool 30 degrees celcius on the cpu and everything's flying along at light speed.
