Week 1, a time for boundless optimism. So what are you optimistic you will see on Monday Night Football? A running game? A turnover causing pass rush?
Go Broncos!

Go Broncos!
Special note for the next two weeks. I will be in France for week 2 and 3, So I probably won't be able to make gameday thread
Happy as hell to see the regular season FINALLY here!
Go Broncos!
I can't wait for tonight

Flacco must show he’s a legit QB. He has weapons now. If he comes out and plays like Keesum and Trigga Trev... I just don’t even want to think about it.
I really wish we’d have addressed the ILB position with Davis still out. I think we’re going to struggle to stop the run.

Just win the game, Broncos!
Tonight will be one of the moments when the late start time benefits me as i should be home in time to watch the game in full.
The wife will be asleep.
Baby will be asleep.
Oh yeah!

Does he have blockers now? If not, keep thinking what you're already thinking. I've never understood the logic that says a QB who consistently has <2 seconds to go through progressions and wait for someone to beat a jam and get open has only himself to blame--but at least I'm in the best possible place to see it explained! And at least Khalil Mack's in the NFC now; too bad we have to play him next week anyway.
It's no accident Flacco looked "elite" for the few years he had run support, protection, and the SB Ring they provided, but like garbage before and after that. He throws a nice deep ball, but so do most NFL starters; sadly, putting Daryle Lamonica under center only works if the center's Jim Otto, Art Shell's next to him and Gene Upshaw's on the end. This looks more like the same old same old: Unless the line consistently gets Lindsay 5+ yds even against stacked boxes so blitzers must keep looking over their shoulders on the rare occasions we need to pass, it's gonna be a loooong season.
Yes, I realize good offenses should view passing as an opportunity, not necessity. I'm just unsure how relevant that statement is to THIS offense... .
*shrug* Hope for the best, but the less I expect, the less I'm disappointed. Which is probably the right mindset headed into an election year.
Oh, valid point. I thought you meant all starters, you should take the time to be more descriptive, don't be shy. —Jaded

On paper at least Broncos are a better team. If they have any hope of doing anything this Season, they have to Win tonight. These are the ****in Raiders.
