How a sequel should be made. Best Picture of the year, by far.

I am starting to think the Aliens Universe, Blade Runner are one in the same, just different timelines.
Blade Runner and Baby Driver were my two favorite flicks this year.

    Mudbound 11/10

    Amazing movie.

Get through the first twenty minutes and it is captivating.

It actually angered me, but equally it was really well told, multiple narrators, perspectives and great acting

Taxi Driver I've seen several times because I wrote an analysis of it for a Horror Films class arguing that it's a psychopathic horror film. It's an unpolished movie and the ending doesn't make a lot of sense, but it's gotta be #1 or #2 for me.

Quentin Tarantino ranting about movies is my favorite thing ever. I love his Top Gun breakdown (NSFW):

Watched Dunkirk last night. Thought it was real good. They do a bit of a time warp, which they basically explain in a way, but at first it didn't dawn on my what they were saying/doing. It's worth watching.

The previews look really good. I’ve got it in my playlist, but haven’t watched it yet. You just help build my anticipation.

The actor from Breaking Bad - i can't remember his name - is sooooo good in it, it is frightening how good.

He invokes real disgust, hatred and anger (at least he did in me, and can generally just appreciate movies for being movies)

Just saw "The Darkest Hour" last night. It was the first time I went to the movies in 2017. They should simply award Gary Oldman every acting award there is, then retire them all afterwards. I was blown away. It was a great and very human portrayal of the greatest man of the 20th Century IMO.

Well worth it. You'll forget you're watching Oldman. He IS Churchill

Big movie week for the Fam.

Star Wars Last Jedi - 6/10 - I'm not big on movies needing to follow the previous story to the letter, but this movie was just ok.

Thor Ragnorok again. 9/10 - just loved it. Funny, some action, Loved Cory the Rock guy, and Bruce banner.

Jumanji - 8/10 laughed a lot. Nice shout out to robin Williams. Really enjoyed it.

To round out the weekend, gonna rent Dunkirk

I watched it for about 10 minutes and shut it off. I couldn’t get into it.

Watched 'What....Monday' last night, 6.5/10. Interesting ideas, iffy story. Probably worth the watch, but..eh.

Went and watched 'Jumanji'. We loved it. Funny stuff.

The Peter Rabbit movie looks like it's going to be funny, and a good family movie.
