    What are you smoking?

You can make the argument Houston came out on top, but the Thunder got a lot of good pieces out of that trade as well. Best piece, Steven Adams.

How was the Thunder going to keep 3 max contract stars over these past 5 years? It's not feasible for anyone.

Now it is because the salary cap is going up so much, but it wasn't 4 1/2 years ago.

You give it one last spin in lieu of a trade that gives your team nothing.

I'm going to continue to remind you for the next 10 years that Steven Adams is "nothing". You better not run away and hide.

The "one last spin" would have put the Thunder in the Repeat Violator luxury tax for all these years. Luxury tax for a season is one thing. Repeat violator is another.

He's not a star player and star players win in this league. So when you remind me and I go 'hey, is a a true star player in the league and not a default star because this era has shit for bigs' I better hear "I'm so sorry to attack you, Von Kinger."

This is called the long-term-styled-on. NTL, don't paly yourself. I love you. Far more than you love me.

@WojVerticalNBA: Sources on @TheVertical: Free agent Dwyane Wade and Denver officials just completed a 2.5 hour meeting in New York.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Wade also meeting with Milwaukee and Miami. Said Chicago might have a chance if they fly to meet him.

At this point, I don't think Wade would be more than a sideshow to sell tickets. I'm not sure he even makes Denver a playoff team.

Don't care. Like Jay Cutler don't care level.

    #makeDenvermediocreagain

In all seriousness, having him to help guide Mudiay and Murray for a year would be awesome. Teach them how to be professionals.

Agreed. Pretty much just a support player at this stage.

Fair enough. Denver could use someone like that. And they have to hit the cap floor regardless, so might as well try to sign him.

This is a good point. He's the best way available for them to get to the floor.

who cares? bennett wasn't going to ask you for a loan, was he? if it would have helped them keep KD, it would have been worth every penny. . .
