I'm a big fan of Edgar Wright (directed Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim etc...) so I was looking forward to this.
I really liked it. The story is old but with Wright's direction it feels new.

Also, Wright works with music the same way a lot of directors work with actors.
Like the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, music is a character all its own...
Awesome movie. I know CJ Jones. He was my mentor in my days and became friends. Last month, he hosted a "Baby Driver" private screening for the Deaf community in Los Angeles before the film's release. The movie had open-captioned on the big screen at the LA movie theater.
I was invited to his private events and it was awesome. By the way, CJ Jones is a Deaf guy and he is fluent in ASL. (American Sign Language)

    The Promise 9/10

While slow at times, the film is gripping, covering life before in Constantinople, and when the purges start of the Armenians. I never understood much about the Turkish/ Armenian conflict before this. I also believe the Turkish government banned this film. They refuse to acknowledge what happened to this day...

I shed tears watching this film. Great Acting.

    The Circle 7/10

Story about a company that is basically a made up version of Google. All about privacy and sharing, i really enjoyed how the film presented the issues with taking it too far. However the film makes kind of ridicolous things happen, to make the main character continue to go down the Rabbit Hole and progress the story.......

    Lost City of Z

    10/10

Definitely the best movie i have seen in a while. Covers the famous explorer Fawcett and his expeditions into the unexplored inner Brazil.

Film makes you think after watching it, so much so, i found myself looking up the area in google maps after watching. Most of the area they visited is still vast jungle today.

    Spider man Homecoming.

    6/10

Was meh. Some really cool action sequences, with stuff i have seen before in every single other action movie. Not one scene really stood out to me.

Pros: Not watching uncle ben die for 40th time.

Cons: Turned Mary jane into some weirdo.

Why does Wonder Woman not have huge boobs? How am I supposed to take the movie seriously?

I agree, I don't need huge boobs, I would smack it up, flip it and rub it down (oh NNNoooo).

But Wonder Woman has huge boobs, this is like making Wolverine 6'4" or Starbuck a woman. WW has huge boobs!

Not really. Which Wonder Woman are we talking about? In some of the comics she is drawn differently but the newer iterations even before they cast Gal Gadot WW has been rocking a leaner frame in recent years.

I thought this film was just a huge bore.

    Agreed!

War for the Planet of the Apes 8.5/10

Stunning special effects and a great allegory for war make the third and probably final movie in the Planet of the Apes trilogy a satisfying conclusion. If you are invested in the other two films, then this is a must see. If you've never seen the other two, there is a quick catchup of the story so far at the beginning that will settle you in nicely if you are interested into jumping right into the third movie. The special effects on the apes is photorealistic and downright convincing most of the time and the themes they touch on include sacrifice, genocide, and revenge. The whole movie is tense but full of dramatic moments that wouldn't feel out of place in any of the great war movies of the last few decades. Really nice surprise in what has been a pretty quiet summer movie season so far.
