when they selected Kelly with the very last pick in the 2017 draft, the Broncos’ brass thought he had a chance to become their starting quarterback in 2019 or 2020. And that was knowing he would probably have to redshirt his rookie season because of his right wrist and knee injuries.
So, he’s still got a chance. If the Broncos sign Cousins, his odds of starting here would become longer. If they don’t sign Cousins, this will be a big year for Kelly. He will have to impress during practices and preseason.

I think it is a little funny watching you go ape shit over VJ while praising the team for drafting Kelly and envisioning him as a future starter, considering VJ was one of the biggest supporters of Kelly and said he was his favorite QB in the draft.
Not sure what you are saying with me but I have been one of the most outspoken on the board about my dislike of VJ. Hated the hire, felt he was grossly unqualified, and hated that he wasn't fired.
I guess I am just a bit more diplomatic then you though and look at things with a bit of logic when needed.
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/b...-in-the-draft/ that says he was banging the same Kelly drum that you do...
You are so biased against VJ that you will sit there and say he had no say what so ever in the good drafting of your stud QB Kelly but in the same breath this clueless and powerless idiot had all the say in getting rid of Talib.
Well...which is it?? Does he have no say in personal or does he have all the say??
Off topic, I am also getting tired of you always calling VJ Radio. Special Needs people are some fine people who happen to have special needs. You are using it as a derogatory meaning and are insulting a group of fantastic people.
If you are trying to insult his intelligence, let's go...let's call him a pot head. The loss of brain cells of the average pot head fits VJ pretty well.
