They hurt my heart, I’m sorry if my empathy is triggering you.

You’re right of course. In the future I will try to have more sympathy for people being forced at gunpoint to work someplace. Thanks for setting me straight, amigo.

Remember that the next time those hundreds of pipeline jobs are an existential crisis.

My question is - do they have any ******* idea what they're doing running a football team? Walton doesn't strike me as much of a football guy... I don't know if Penner is or not. And I guess all things being equal, I'd probably rather have the deep pocketed owner who takes a back seat (Kroenke) as opposed to the super passionate guy who wants to put his stamp on everything (Jones, Irsay). But Bowlen was such a football guy that it makes me a little nervous to have this hodgepodge conglomerate ownership group. This coaching hire is going to be very interesting - and also how Paton's role evolves under this group.

The fact that they fired a first year coach before the end of his first season, which is something that you can count on one hand the number of times that's happened in the past 50 years, tells me at least they aren't going to pussyfoot around and settle for mediocrity.

Firing someone is the easy part, especially when half the fan base has turned into a lynch mob wanting him out. Then they pursue the top 2 candidates that certain members of this site want, while others don't. So, all that may have been proven is Mr. Walmart listens to the voice of the masses. These same masses absolutely wanted nothing to do with Josh Allen on draft day.

If by “masses” you mean Broncos fans then Penner could get better advice from Miss Cleo.
