watched a couple of pics lately.

Horrible Bosses 8.5/10. Laughed out loud so many times. I actually enjoyed Jennifer Anniston as a slutty ho, and Colin Farrell as the coke-head Bobby was epic!

Contagion 7/10. Well made, great cast, but as a nursing student, I felt like I'd just watched a really high budget public health service film.

Footloose 2011 7.5/10. Some great nods to the original, good music, and a fun flick

Some awesome quotes in that movie alone!

Hudson: Stop your grinnin', and drop your linen!

    Hicks: It's a bughunt.

Hudson: Hey Vasquez, you ever get mistaken for a man?
    Vasquez: No. Have you?

Apone: Allright, sweethearts, you heard the man and you know the drill! ******** and elbows!

Hudson: We got nukes, we got knives, sharp sticks...

Frost: What the hell are we supposed to use man? Harsh language?

I watched "I Saw the Devil" last night. 7/10.

Pretty good flic overall. Pretty gory, but overall a good story. It got a little farsical toward the end ("catching" the guy with the door of the car removed etc.), but overall a good one.

Definitely don't allow kids to watch this one, or anyone squeamish at all. Very tense at times as well.

I saw that over Easter. I saw "bits and pieces" though. so I never really "SAW" it. my sister was crying at the end, so I get the impression that it was a pretty powerful story. It was certainly interesting from what I did see. I like animal stories for the most part. I like horsies.

I'm also glad to hear some folks watched "I saw the devil." Definitely an original movie. Crazy too LOL.

Yeah, that part at the end when he swooped in and scooped the guy up with the car door open was a bitch much, but I just went with it LOL.

I liked how he kept patching the guy up and keeping him alive. Good flick.

I saw Cabin in the Woods this weekend as well. 8/10. Original and entertaining.

I too enjoyed Cabin in the Woods. The last 30 minutes was a wild ride. Definitely original.

Hey, if you enjoyed I Saw the Devil, you might wanna check out "The Chaser," "A Man from Nowhere," and "Old Boy." All of those movies are original, badass Korean movies much like I Saw the Devil.

Showed my girls Pearly Harbor for the first time last wekend...10/10.

I was actually on vacation in Hawaii when the movie premiered on a carrier out there. Biggest missed opportunity of my life. Had I known at the time, I'd have spared zero expense to be on that ship for that premiere. I can't imagine the emotion of the survivors they brought back for the movie.

Was there a movie named Pearl Harbor different than the one with Ben Afflect? Because that movie was a pile of shit. I can only imagine any survivors who watched that movie left in disgust at the way they focused on a fake romance instead of the events that actually occurred.

Smilin' surely must be referring to a documentary of some sort. No one in their right mind would give that movie with Affleck 10/10.

Lol! Pearl Harbor was possibly one of the worst movies ever made. It wins the all time prize for missing the point.
