    Default Dark Knight Rises Trailer

I really hope they knock this out of the park. Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are easily two of my favorite movies, let alone comic book movies. Of particular note in this trailer is Heinz Field getting blown up (with a fictional stand in team for the Steelers, of course).

Just the conclusion to the Christopher Nolan series. He followed the arc of the best Batman graphic novels. Batman Year One for Batman Begins, The Long Halloween for The Dark Knight, and what looks to be a mix of The Dark Knight Returns and Knightfall for The Dark Knight Rises.

I'm sure they will continue the franchise, it just won't be set in this particular canon.

Christopher Nolan is a genius. He makes blockbuster type movies that not only don't suck but are intelligent.

My favorite movie of his is The Prestige. Like a moron, I still haven't seen Inception. I really am behind on my movies right now.

    The Prestige was great.

Inception is on the HBO on demand right now I think. . .pretty easy to see right now. At least it was a couple weeks ago and I watched it for the umpteenth time.

I don't have cable, but I have a pretty nifty movie service on my Bluray player called Cinemanow. I'll rent it Christmas Eve or something.

Incidently, if anyone has an iPhone they have an awesome Inception App! You start the app and pick a "dream state" and put on your headphones. All the noises and voices around you are distorted (echoes and such) and a sountrack plays. If you go outside or move faster, the music changes (it can tell where you are and what the weather is like with the iPhone GPS).

Prestige is FABULOUS. I did a top 10 movies of the past decade not too long ago and The Prestige was one of them. Dark Knight was also in there as well. Missy kept giving me a hard time because of how many movies with Christian Bale i had in there but i cant help it he just happened to be in so many good movies the last decade. lol

Batman vs Wolverine in a movie about magicians. Awesome!

I thought I was being contrarian putting The Prestige ahead of Inception.
