Default Hardest Hitters of All Time: Two Broncos Honored

    #10 John Lynch http://www.denverbroncos.com/page.ph...V&year=&month=

    #9 Steve Atwater http://www.denverbroncos.com/page.ph...V&year=&month=

I'm disappointed they omitted Dennis Smith, though. I believe he was the
    hardest-hitting Bronco I've ever seen.

Still, this is pretty cool . . .

    where's the list?

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Man, talk about leaving it all on the field. Atwater's performance in the SB against GB was epic.

"He's gonna land on his ass this time"

(Atwater's statement before he leveled Okoye)

    Truer words were never spoken.

I couldn't agree more top. Smith's problem was that he played the same position and the same time as Lott so he didn't get the publicity.

They'd fine #27 and #49 right outta the league in today's game, John Lynch got a dose of what would happen to players like that towards the end of his career.

I prefer yesterday's NFL to this Two-Hands-Below-The-Waist and Spread Offense NFL of today.......

How do you think Lynch's sister reacted when she saw the hit he put on her husband.

I would like to see the entire list if anyone can find it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lynch was the most "modern-era" player on that list...says alot about how the NFL has turned soft in favor of offense.

Have to agree. Meck played with both Atwater and Smith and he said that Smith was the harder hitter. That Dennis even knocked him out once.
