It would be so nice if you would spit out your proclamations in coherent sentences.

Why are you concerned about something you can comprehend? Good grief

I think there is still some very bad blood there for him with Irsay, plus he stayed in Denver after he retired because he loves it so much.....
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

He basically told Indy to swallow him.

Given how Paton traded for Bridgewater and there's a QB competition, I don't think Paton agrees with what you believe him to....agree to....

Lock's started 18 games. That's more than one season of play. He also rode the bench in his rookie year. He also has largely looked bad during his time. The roster Denver had last year was really good. It's gotten better. Last year there were a lot of injuries. But at the end of the day Lock's play has been Lock's play. You cannot ignore how many young QB's turn it on in the league right now. And it's just a difference of opinion.

I like Lock. I liked him coming out of college. I hated how Denver treated his injury during the Flacco experiment because it made no sense in context. I hated how he had to play under Scangs. I hated how last season went for him. But his results have been his results.

The only dispute with the above is he didn't "ride the bench" his first year. He was on IR, meaning he couldn't practice. Last year was arguably his first, and I'm hopeful he'll take the leap.

The phrasing could have been better. But there's still some validity to it, imo. He was still in a young QB role and did young QB things. Wasn't he still in the QB's room and studying the playbook? Etc.

I hope he takes the leap, too. I like him as a person and I like his talent.

I have Denver at 5-6 wins on the year. There might be some early fools gold early with NYG/Jags/Jets to open the year though. A "hot start" is possible.

After week 3 it's going to get ugly. Maybe Denver beats the Raiders at home in a coin toss matchup but the Broncos will be underdogs in nearly every game the rest of the way.

Unless the Broncos somehow win a bunch of improbable defensive struggles by a field goal or less (while making bettors rich taking the under) - Fangio is safe putting his home on the market. I see a "Kyle Boller Ravens era" scenario as far more likely.

We lost 6 or more games last year by less 7 points or less. Having a healthy defense equates to at least 2 wins. Having better QB play by either lock of ted equates to at least 1 more win. That is 8 wins before anything else. I have not looked at the schedule yet, but I have a feeling we double your win total. If we have rodgers I bet we do not lose more than 3.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

No prime time games is a bad sign for out of TV home territory fans on Sundays too.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

    Eh.

Once Lock discovers there's more than one read on a play, we'll be national.

    Or Rodgers, either way.

edit: once Lock discovers the concept of a read
