Maybe, but I'm not sure the teammates see it that way. Friendships and bonds have been made between Lock and a lot of those guys. Whether he's a project or not, those feelings with be there from the players if Lock is still around

QB's are off the board. I don't want to take a right tackle at pick 9--there are plenty of good RT guys later in the draft. If this happens, I imagine it's Parsons, or trade back. But we won't get a big haul if all 5 QB's are taken
Sewell would be on the board... So would Parsons. This would be a good scenario and someone would offer a package for Sewell, so I'd be okay with trading back or just taking him outright.

I’d love Parsons too, Surtain or Horn.

A run on WRs ahead of us is literally our best possible case scenario.

Albright is reporting Parsons is not on their draft board.

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

I really think Detroit goes WR. Look at their depth chart and that position sucks

Really hard to hate this one. Panthers paying most of the price and giving up a 6th. Bridgewater has a reputation as a checkdown guy but at the minimum a serviceable backup.

It’s good to see the team by all appearances is in competent hands with the management reorg.

If we do keep Lock and Teddy was brought in to mentor him, at least he’ll be good at showing him how to check down... Teddy is a master at that shit! A 3 yard pass on 3rd and 7 is Teddy’s bread and butter.

Great move. I've always been a Teddy fan, but I've come to terms with the fact that he's at best a good game manager.

There's really not a bad move to make from here. Keep Lock + Bridgewater and draft other position needs, trade Lock and draft rookie QB to learn from Teddy. Either way it makes for a much more exciting draft night for us tomorrow.

Bridgewater's contract was restructured. He did have $17.95 million coming this year -- with $10 million fully guaranteed -- plus a non-guaranteed $21 million in 2023.

Under his new deal, the $21 million in 2023 is erased. Carolina will pay $7 million of Bridgewater's $10 million guarantee with the Broncos picking up the other $3 million. The Broncos will also pay Bridgewater a $1.5 million salary. So Bridgewater will wind up with a one-year, $11.5 million deal.
