What drama/head issues? He's a firey player on the field, but never to the detriment of his team that I've seen.

I think his obnoxious trash talking can lead to trouble. Thats what made the Georgia game so fun, it brought him back down to earth. But it wasnt the first time that he has run into issues like that (grabbing his crotch on camera).

Hard to say until he actually plays in the NFL. But i agree with you that his accuracy is up there like Wilson's was. If he can humble himself and come down from his ego he might be something special.

No, we are talking about Mayfield. Rivers has had issues with jawing (remember the Cutler days?) and acting like an ass. Rivers has talent obviously but its not top tier in my opinion because when push comes to shove he folds more times than pulls out miracles.

Put Rivers on our teams the last two years and we're Super Bowl contenders each year IMO. If Mayfield is that (I have no idea if he is or not) sign me up for it at 5 in a heartbeat.

I would love to have Rivers, but the chances of him leaving SD are slim to none.

Yes, but in his post that said "I don't like him but won't deny he is very good", he was talking about Rivers. I can deduct this from his post earlier where he said about Mayfield "I am on Mayfield train because he is such a leader to teammates"
