What I don't want to happen is one QB or the other to win the starting position only to be replaced mid-season because it's just going to turn things into a smelly cesspool.

*edit* though I guess if things turn out the same way they did with the Orton/Tebow fiasco, Matthew Stafford could potentially be a FA next year (along with Brees and Cousins)

If Lions let Stafford walk, man he'd be super nice in Denver.
I don't think the atmosphere is anywhere near the same when comparing the Tebow era against now. Most of the Tebowites left when he did. It's really not comparable, IMO.

The scale is lesser i'll grant you that, but it's the same freaking arguments. It's a lot more similar than you think IMO.

Lynch is not Tebow 2.0. He's not that awful. That comparison isn't even close to accurate or apt. Orton vs. Orton would be a better comparison.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

I don't really think he's that close to Tebow, I like to sensationalize things to get a rise. He's got a lot more talent physically, but I do question his intelligence level. Every interview or video I've seen of him...I dunno...His level of intelligence reminds me a lot of Tim. Hopefully I just have a wrong impression, or if I have the right impression, hopefully it just doesn't impact his performance.

I thought he had been perma-banned, but apparently he just stop coming around. His last post here was 11/5/2012:

Good riddance! They were worse than a plague of biting flies. Half of them couldn't care less whether the Broncos won or not, just that their hero Tebow did something. Now they are swarming to watch Tebow play minor league baseball against the Pawtucket Mudhens or whatever. When he goes 1-4 against double-A pitching they cheer wildly (this was reported on the radio earlier this spring).

I'm not sure that real intelligence has a ton to do with Football Intelligence. The highest ever scores for QBs on the Wonderlic? Ryan Fitzpatrick 48 and QB Greg McElroy 48. And you all know what awesome Hall of Famers those guys were.

That sounds like an awkward exam.

Tebow could never be half the quarterback Lynch is and can be. Lynch also doesn't come with the Gator nation who caused a raucous because of tebow, they didn't give a damn about the Broncos.
