I like the signing. I was also hoping we’d have the inside track on Amos but it looks like he’s going to the Packers. Collins, Mattheiu, Amos off the board - are there any other FA Safeties worth a look?

The next Tier is probably Clayton Geathers, Tre Boston, Ha Ha Clinton dix and then maybe Tashun Gipson. I'm not sure I would worry about any of them after what just happened to the safety market. I like Simmons at FS and Parks at SS, with Fangio and a better scheme.

My opinion...we already got our safety in Jackson. Yeah, he can play corner, but he's 31 and should really be trending towards that safety spot. I think at this point in his career, that's the best option. That said, I pray Yiadom makes strides and we can get a solid corner in the draft.
Yeah they still need 2 more corners. Wouldn’t be surprised if that is 1st pick.
I think for us to draft a CB at 10. Baker and Murphy need to have amazing pro days. Neither one ran well or did that great in drills at the combine. They both have strong tape and production however. So if they have good pro days or their visit with us goes well(if we bring them in), then I could see CB still be the pick at 10.

Perfect world, we could move some money around and make room for a Callahan signing...but I won't hold my breath.

Hey who breakdown the difference in vic’s Scheme for corners versus wades? I’ve heard the corners o]in Vic’s aren’t required to do as much? No as much man? Anyone know more?
A lot more zone coverage under Vic is what we've been led to believe... Wade liked to put his corners on an island and emphasize M2M. With zone schemes, having a veteran who knows what they're doing is a lot more valuable than a plug & plan man specialist. And in theory, both Harris and Jackson can play inside and outside, so they can disguise more.
From what I have heard he likes our guys to dog. So they play man for the first like 10 yards ish, then break into zone after that. Not always, but often.
The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
Sign Callahan
Draft Lonnie Johnson out of Kentucky
Call it a day
