I thought there was a 50/50 chance of Flacco re-invigorating his career in Denver but its clear the guy has checked out and the sooner he is replaced the better.

How bout starting Flacco and bringing Lock off the bench? Keep the competition open for ‘20 TC, and you don’t wreck the rookie with this OL.

I think that is bound to happen at some point this year. The more losses we have the bigger chance Lock comes in to get some live game experience. If John ******* keeps Flacco in all year long with a losing record im going to be pissed. Lol

Play both, the best scenario for keeping Flacco viable for next season. If you don’t see needing Flacco next season as a distinct possibility you don’t know the Broncos, he’s still an NFL starting QB. He isn’t the problem.

nope. . . lock needs to start the second he's available. . . if he's good enough to keep us out of the top five, a high left tackle or corner sounds just right to me. . .

who's the best QB prospect to ever get wrecked by a bad line? that loser raider QB's shitty big bro?

    n o big loss. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

He's not the total problem but he does have some issues, if you cant see what they are i dont know what else to tell you there. He's still making rookie mistakes and has no fire or urgency whatsoever and those are major issues for a QB to have.

Flacco really doesn't give a ****. Troy Aikman only calls out players from the NFCE....and he shat all over Flacco. Flacco was worse than Bolles last night, and Bolles is the worst starter in the league.

I dunno, Bolles was really bad. Joe at least made some great throws only to be dropped by Fant. Lol

Bolles is bad, and stupid, and a whiner. But he didn't quit on the field. Joe also hit us with his patented taking a coverage sack a few times. He also quit. Like a quitter.

Never said that he didn’t, he had the same issues when he was a SB MVP, though.

My point is this; regardless of who they take into ‘20 season at the position the Broncos think they’re going to the SB ... they also have shit luck when it comes to draft position, they’re always JUST out of reach for the QBotF ... they also don’t have the ability to scout/develop the position, Lock might be JAG.

I’d go so far as to say that Flacco is the odds favorite to be their starting QB in 2020, so unless something like Cam Newton is a legitimate possibility they have no choice but to plan accordingly.

I think what a lot of us are hoping though is that Lock (if and when he comes in to play) just simply outplays Joe and makes him a backup and irrelevant in the long run.

    Exactly

I love Lock, my hope is he makes Flacco a Matt Hasselbeck type veteran presence and the Broncos can go LT in the 1st round. But I never get what I want.

Well, that loser's brother was considered an elite prospect. Watson's already had plenty of sacks on him. RG3 didn't have a great line, and he was an uber talented as well. If you're saying what I think you're saying, that a great talent can't be ruined by a bad line, I disagree.
