    Default Far Cry Primal

It's 10,000 BC and you go on some kind of vision quest after a shaman makes you chug a blood/peyote slurry, then you can tame Jaguars and stuff to fight alongside you. It's way more dope than I expected. Huge fan so far.

Just tamed a sabertooth. Was cruising around with my jaguar and then holy shit this massive cat appears and starts giving the jaguar the business. The jaguar, bless his (or her) soul, gave it everything, but it was over in seconds. Then I start throwing bait at the thing, hoping it will decide I'm more trouble than the sweet morsels I'm offering. This goes back and forth for a while, and I figure I'm done for. Finally the sabertooth decides I'm cool. So now we are buds.

Funniest part was immediately after that, the sabertooth picks up the dead jaguar by the neck like a mamma cat and drops it at my feet. Telling me something I guess.

    This game is the balls.

Sounds about right. I had it on my Steam wishlist and bought it when it hit $10 or $15 bucks. Game is rocket fuel. Just trampled a bunch of jerks who were tormenting an imprisoned baby mammoth with spears.

So I stealthed into their camp and rode said baby mammoth. I'm really in tune with the animals you see. Jailbreak. Major action.

Anyway, this particular tribe used mammoth skulls to decorate their camp, so the mammoth and I trampled all that. Fools would come to stop us but we'd launch them catapult style with the trunk. The graphics made me laugh, watching these flailing dudes reach twenty to thirty feet spinning around all wonky. Then I took baby mammoth back to mom and dad. Everyone was super stoked. Except that nasty tribe of course.

Was kind of a PETA vengeance dream come true I didn't realize I had in me.

I'm more of a Stellaris guy than a FCP guy, but it brings me joy to see how much fun you are having with it.

    Maybe I'll check it out.

I can't decide what I'm buying next. Part of me wants to buy The Show '19 - but I know if I do I'll probably play it 3-4 hours and never touch it again.

Hitman 2 is the only thing I'm playing at the moment.

    I didn't really love FC5 but maybe I'll give this a go.

I gave up on Far Cry 4 - just couldn't get into it and i found the controls awkward after binging RDR2.

But this Primal malarkey sounds right up my street

no one MADE you chug that blood/peyote slurry. oh wait, let me guess.. the shaman tripped and spilled the slurry which ended up in your mouth, is that how it happened?

it is an illness. on a more serious note what is this all about? I will have to google this. there was a scene in one of the VC games that the character was on acid and had to kill a bunch of firebreathing dragons or some shit. WHILE ON ACID. can you believe that?
