First of all, I’m a Bronco fan. From the womb in 97’. Watch your mouth or I’ll wash it with soap.
2nd, JFE was obviously the biggest reason Manning signed here. He showed Manning the vision.
But you’re out of your mind if you think Manning would sign here if we had another 4-12 year the season before he hits free agency. He was already nearing the end of his prime. Why would he sign with a team that didn’t make the playoffs??
No ******* way. PFM saw how terrible Tebow was and that we still made it to the divisional round, despite that and knew we had a promising roster.
Tebow was a key factor in making the playoffs that year and we would not have made it or won a classic over *****Burgh if he was not on that roster.
Now quit making me defend Tebow. B/c I really don’t care. He was far from my favorite Bronco.

I'm not sure about most of this, but you make a good point about washing his mouth out with soap and the Elway vision.

    that, too. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Broncos have called around inquiring about right tackles. Charles Leno, just cut by Bears, and Demar Dotson are among the available. #9Sports

Is Eric Fisher still out there? I wonder how he'd do on the right side (in more ways than one)?

This post is 100% facts. Despite Tebow being a terrible thrower he was the main reason we made the playoffs and it did indeed lead to Manning signing here.

Jaded has sold me. Lets sign isiah wilson and Schwartz
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

That moment when you realize you are considering responding to a Tebow post, 145 posts into a Ju'Wann James injury thread, ten years after Tebow last took a snap for the Denver Broncos.

I was almost as big a fan as jaded of Wilson coming out last year but that guy needs to get his head right. I was also a huge fan of Schwartz going back to his Cleveland days and was disappointed that we signed the guy that Kansas City let walk so they could sign schwartz. But at this point I think he's considering retirement because of the back issues. At one point he was easily the best right tackle in football I just don't know that physically he can handle it any longer.

Many of us saw this coming....I thought it would be turf toe personally that would end his year lol. All joking aside that's a bad break for the dude. COVID and a Achilles tear is no ones fault and we cant hold that against the dude. I will say the union is a bad apple here they know the injury guarantees and how insurance works with them so bad advice to sell the opt out of OTA's if you have that much cash at risk. In the end we got screwed by a dude with big injury concerns and its reared here 2 of 3 years plus the Covid year. I'm pretty sure he will get put on IR and we will cut him next year. The dude was jobbing and working out in Denver before the whole union voluntary OTA's thing, so I actually think he is on okay footing with the FO. Wont surprise me though to see him released with a injury settlement though. I feel like that would be fair for both sides.

As for options we have nothing good on our roster at RT except for maybe Risner, but who is also coming off a down year at Guard. Anderson has some you tube clip out there against 3rd string that I see people touting, but gimme a break. We need to bring Dotson or Fisher in asap as insurance. I said this about the draft....taking a RB in rd. 2 over a T was not smart even before the James injury. Our OL has some serious questions now. 4 of the 5 spots are unknows or had poor performance last year. There was a reason most of us in the draft wanted a tackle in the 1st 3 rds it was that good a class this year. Paton made a mistake plain and simple. its okay it happens but he better pull a plan out his ass soon.....Cause Anderson isn't the answer.....
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

    FA

Won't be fisher. Hes not healed from his Achilles or acl or whatever. Schwartz yes. Fisher no. Likely neither. Thats why I say Isiah Wilson And schwatrz or Leno, or Wagner.
