The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
Well, Mack didn't play, Makar and Byram are still hurt, and Miska sucks. That about sums it up.

rest - https://www.nhl.com/avalanche/news/a...ty/c-322263028When it comes to injuries for the Colorado Avalanche, each day seems to bring a mix of good and bad news.
Today's update is on trend with that, with Matt Calvert being back in the Avs lineup and Nathan MacKinnon on track to return to game action later this week. However, Colorado added another player to the training room as Conor Timmins will miss tonight's contest against the Arizona Coyotes at Ball Arena with an upper-body injury.
Also out for the team is Bowen Byram (upper body), Pavel Francouz (lower body), Dennis Gilbert (upper-body injury and COVID protocol), Erik Johnson (upper body), Cale Makar (upper body) and J.T. Compher (upper body), who missed his first contest of the campaign on Saturday versus the Anaheim Ducks.

The Avs need to do something with the goaltending.

Havent kept up with Hockey much but judging by their record and the scoreboard when they play they look pretty good. Any chance of a run for a cup this year? Thoughts?
LOL- ya dude. We were close last year with an entire squad injured.
This is the best team I have ever seen assembled. Sometimes they play that way. Sometimes not. Injuries will be the deciding factor.
Tampa is also very stacked. Toronto is playing out of their minds too. We have to remember that the division games are making some teams look better than others. But yes. Vegas is the only team in our way imo. We are better than they are. Sakic has pushed all the chips in too. Bringing back nemeth, soda and dubnyk, while also singing New Hook to roster too. Sakic has brought in the bodies for the cup run. This is like the 98 broncos team. I will be disappointed if we do not get all the way. Ive never seen a team this good before. I still am in awe that Joe was able to build this.
