5th round— Ladd McKonkey WR

He's to good though, Denver wont take him because they like projects. I dont know if you saw it in the college football thread but today Bryce was in the booth helping the defense gameplan the Blue Devils today (because of his injury). I had never seen anything like that and while im not sure how good/bad the Devils are this year we beat their ass 48-7 and forced 5 turnovers. I like that Hall still wanted to be involved with the team and not just in a ra-ra aspect.
Btw, I don’t know who this Harris guy is, I think he’s new to DN ... but he needs a dictionary.

Bryce hall is a Fangio CB, he currently is rated from 3rd-4th rd pick....We probably need 2 CB's out of the next draft anyway....If we were smart we would take OL Andrew Thomas in the top 10 and then look at a CB...so a guy like Hall could be good in those rds.
The good news is we have some better backend depth than I originally thought, but Chris Harris isn't coming back. Part of the problem too is we keep switching coaching staffs so the scheme changes. We draft Yiadom who is better at man for example then play him in a heavy zone scheme where he struggles....its not always on the player...we need to stop swapping staffs so much and stick with something and build and develop into it.....some of these players are getting messed around with and unfairly so.....Demarcus walker is another prime example of this......
Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan
Draft
RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St
FA

Its becoming more apparent we need to address our OT position in the worst way.....Hopefully we can get 1 of the 2 Tackles in the upcoming draft

I think Broncos will go deep on OL in the NFL Draft. (LT, RT, and RG)
If the expected kids declare, there could be 8 legitimate 1st round OTs. The Georgia kid is clear #1, but if Leatherwood declares, he may go top 8. Oklahoma has a monster RS Sophomore. Kids from TCU, Wisconsin, Iowa plus 2 from Auburn are in the mix. This draft could be good for us since we need OL and another QB. Plenty of both
