I don’t hate McCaffrey as much as I hate hype, he was overdrafted because he’s a novelty, never even remotely close to being the 8th best player in the draft.

Absolutely, what I meant to say when I didn’t say what I meant is that it doesn’t make McCaffrey look any better to use RB for comparison.
