    One strong possibility as defensive coordinator for new #Jets coach Adam Gase is Vance Joseph. Joseph is still in the mix with the #Bengals, but he could land in NYJ if Cincy doesn’t work. Gase and Joseph where together in Miami.

    I love Gase - despite him clowning the hell out of us last year. I think he needs to be a little less McDaniels'y in his second gig in how he deals with players, but the guy can scheme an offense. They needed a QB whisperer, and McCarthy ain't that.

    Tannehill is not a real NFL QB. Just an athlete. My worry with Gase is that he DGAF to a fault. That's why him and Cutler got along so well.

    But if you were Peyton Manning's QB coach/OC and he is calling teams to recommend you as a HC then you are a QB whisperer.
