I enjoyed this classic film with Clint Eastwood.
was it a revisit or first time?

Revisited. I haven't seen it for a long time. Maybe 30 years.

Couldn't decide if it was watch worthy. On the one hand, Margot Robbie. That nearly makes it much watch on its own. On the other, it looks like one of those overthought, over written, and not sure how else to describe, indie type film, that I often find very hard to watch.

Is that the left turn clyde movie? Haven't seen them (I think there were at least two) in decades.

Lord of the Rings: Continues to be the greatest trilogy of all-time, while Return of the King is probably the greatest movie of all-time.

    Yup. I like both movies.

Part one is 1978's "Every Which Way But Loose."

Part two is 1980's "Any Which Way You Can."

Brilliant spycraft/deception movie based on a true WWII operation. Interestingly, Ian Fleming (James Bond writer) was a participant in the planning of the operation as a Lieutenant Commander in the British Naval Intelligence Division at the time.

Great acting, great screenplay/script. Keeps the tension building and interest throughout.

It's on Netflix, go check it out.
I didn't know until I watched the trailer that this is a remake of a better movie, imo, called 'The Man Who Never Was' from 1956. While I really liked Mincemeat, I would probably put it at about 7/10, and the original at about 9/10. It is a little shorter, stays much closer to the original material(a book), and doesn't add too much creative license like the needless "love triangle".

But, the original may not be available on streaming services, so if one likes fact based historical movies, I can also recommend Operation Mincemeat.

The Batman. Gotta love the younger, less teched out version of Batman. Also gotta love how the movie took on every legitimate criticism levied at the mythos and addressed it. This isn't just a great comic movie, it's a great movie in and of itself. 9 out of 10.

We men all have a little sparkly vampire buried away in our cold ashen husks of brutal pragmatism.

Save the sparkly vampire, I say. Like the manatee.

He’s a diehard Batman fan and obsessed over the material. I was a fan of the casting and thankfully didn’t have to eat crow because he was excellent. I think he was a main reason why the story directly dealt with the criticisms of Batman: does Gotham ever get and stay better; does he escalate the violence by going hardcore after the villains; should he kill the villains; what does his symbol mean vs what it should mean.
