In that Scenario if Paton doesn't like a QB at 9 We go Edge or OT at 9 period! Hopefully Paton Knows this.

    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest

    We do!
He was just asked yesterday aside from qb what are the biggest needs.

He responded with: Pass Rush. NT. T. (And obviously qb)

So, knowing that. Trade back and get a future 1 and still an edge? Take a qb? Take thibby at 9?
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

And what if we could make some trade....say to 20. That would get us a 1 and 2 next year.....woukd this T be worth more than a CJ Stroud (or whatever the top qbs are next year)

We pick 9 so the goal would be to move to 4 and Hope Pickett Falls past the top 3 teams which is possible. If were lucky Bill Obrien ends up in Jacksonville if he does it will cost us peanuts to move up to 1

In what world will Thibby make it to 9? He is the number 1 overall prospect in the class. We have a better shot at getting Neal at OT or Ojabo at Edge at 9.

Eh, I like Pickett but not sure he is a game changer for us. If he fell to 9, but I dont want to move up for him.

Idk i haven't looked at any draft position yet aside from qb. I just used his name as I saw it mentioned.

    Ojabo then.

Trading back is never a bad thing if the players you want at that slot aren't there its far better then reaching. So yes trading back for a guy like Charles cross in the 15-17 range for extra draft capital and taking a Qb in rd 2 is a option. Me personally I would trade up or take a QB at 9. Rumor has it were also quite high on Jordan Davis. However selecting him or Ojabo could be like picking Chubb and Surtain instead of a QB all over again.

Yep Jacksonville would be stupid to pass on him, but he is not a bill Obrien type player so if bill gets that job it wouldn't shock me to see them take Hutchinson first even if they shouldn't.

You can’t trade back there’s zero chance of getting thibideaux after 9, hell it’s a blessing he’s there at 9 for us. https://youtu.be/zaMtiI8qRdY Look at this kid man this dude is unreal! There’s a solid group of edge guys coming out but this is by far my favorite with the highest upside. Dude has speed, power, lean, great hands and he’s barely scratching the surface as far as pass rush move’s. Get him coached up and wow! Watching him bend the edge and punch big ass tackles onto there ass is awesome! Guy just remind me of the late great Julius peppers with that size speed power ratio

Insert any pass rushers name at 9. That was my point.

Yes, that guy is wow! Reminds me of a shaq barrett with von speed and get off. Monster!

Thibodaux is a freak, if he is there at 9 you take him, same for Evan Neal. Otherwise trade back.
