That kid loves pancaking people. And I love him for it!

Even though I don't really care for pancakes.

Muti demolishes people smaller than him. When I watched him he didn't always get the right leverage on guys as big as him, but now he gets to refine that mauler skillset with Munchak. He's exactly the guy you wanna see with a technical coach.

And with that, we've seen every down he actually played in his college career.

But seriously...if he can be healthy and stay healthy...he'll be a beast.

Highlight films are fun to watch, but over a full season (x4 in a lot of cases) with hundreds (thousands?) of plays, it's tough to gauge a person's true ability based off of those highlights unless you watch every single play.

Keep in mind Joe that was his his Freshman year. It's pretty much universally accepted that if healthy he's in the top 3 at the position this year.

I know...I was just joking that, based on his injury history, that clip may very well show every play

We've seen what Lock could do in a very vanilla system, with limited options while being protected by revolving combinations of Bolles, Risner, Schlottman, James, Wilkinson, McGovern, Leary, etc. The result in that sad environment was 5 sacks in 5 games. As it pertains to Bolles specifically...1 sack allowed, 3 hits allowed and 1 holding penalty.

So you can trot out all kinds of misguided and under-qualified assessments from radio and TV mouthpieces, but until we see something different, there is data and proof (albeit limited) available to give us all reason to be excited and have aspirations for continued improvement. Sorry, but I'm not going to assume the worst based simply on the "because I don't like him" theory.
Sorry, but I’m going with the opinion of two former professional OL over PFF.

Let’s not pretend that Bolles is holding so much because he’s lonely, he’s holding because he’s getting beat.

Bolles has always had the potential to be a Taylor Lewan type, he’s never come close, he’s still the same guy whether it’s Lock starting or Flacco.

    “How We Grade”

“PFF employs over 600 full or part-time analysts, but less than 10% of analysts are trained to the level that they can grade plays. Only the top two to three percent of analysts are on the team of “senior analysts” in charge of finalizing each grade after review”.

These “grade level” analysts knock out grades for 1472 active players (not counting college football) in a matter of hours every week.

    Welker inside
    Orange Julius inside
    Decker outside
    DT outside
Knowshon, Montee Ball (before he fully drank himself out of the league), and Hillman.
And Trindon Holliday as the returner to set the team up with short field position.
Matt Prater to capitalize if the offense somehow stalled past midfield.

I'm not going to crown this rookie crew before they take the field.

I gotta say though, Hamlin reminds me a lot of DeSean Jackson and I've always been a huge fan of DJack's game. Supposedly, he models his game after DJack and Steve Smith, and if he is even half as good as either one it was a draft pick well spent.
Jeudy looked pissed to be drafted by us, and I mean that in a good way. He didn't expect to see Ruggs, who he completely outperformed at Alabama, be drafted before him. It's hard to really pinpoint any one NFL comparison (I've seen OBJ, AJ Green, Santonio Holmes, Reggie Wayne), but he was a great route runner at Alabama and showed skill at creating separation.

Just for argument though as far as being dynamic:
    2013 (An All-Time Great Offense)>2015
    Welker>Hamlin (Or Jeudy)
    DT>Sutton
    Decker>Jeudy (or Hamlin)
    Orange Julius>Fant
    Knowshon<Gordon
    Hill<Lindsay
    Ball>Royce
OLine=OLine (Manning in the shotgun propped up a mediocre line, so meh)
    Manning>Lock

I'd love to be able to flip a lot of these at season's end though, but it'd be unrealistic to expect Lock to toss up 55 touchdowns this year.

I have always wanted Steve Smith on the Broncos, love his attitude.

Yea, no way we can say how these guys are going to pan out. I think people are starting to put the cart before the horse here a bit.
