Lol. Keegan played the last three in +3. Dammit Keegan!
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

We knew this was inevitable, but would have been nice to get through Day 1.

He has three Top 20s in the last five years. I still have some hope. Weather-wise, tomorrow is the wildcard.

Dammit! Keegan bogeyed the 18th again...need the cut line to get to +3. It’s close.

An American short-game specialist is destroying the longest Open course in history.

    Go figure.

I wanted to play Kisner for the same reason I wanted to play ZJ (recent success at this event) but his recent form looked so lousy I couldn't pull the trigger.

His best finish in three tries was T54. Zach Johnson has a Claret Jug and four Top 15s in the last five years, and was only $300 more...that's why they play the games.

+3 is now T71. Come on people, we just need a few bogeys!

I have zero 6/6 teams and will now be ignoring the remainder of this event.

My Milli is 6/6 provided the cutline stays at +3. It should at this point.

3/20 on 6/6, but luckily ones in the Milli. My three best lineups at this moment are 5/6 in the $1.

    So...$100 bucks won on $60 entry...made money, won't complain.

That said...interesting exercise, my best lineups were
Milli: McIlroy, Kuchar, Moore, Scott, Fowler, Bradley, 404
$1: Rose, Kuchar, Moore, Z. Johnson, Fowler, Reed, 429.5

The best possible lineup (by my calculations) that I could have come up with from my 26-player pool:
McIlroy, Rose, Kuchar, Simpson, Moore, Z. Johnson, 452.5

Maybe could have added about $100 to my winnings, but I would have had to start building lineups with Rose, Zach Johnson, Moore to get to that, I think. I built my lineups (75 percent, anyway) around Fowler, Kuchar, Grillo, and then pivoted half of the Grillo to Moore. Should have pivoted all to Moore.

Anyway, those are my thoughts on my roster construction this week. I did alright.

I was trying to overwrite my lineup right at lock this morning and didn't realize I had multiple browsers open and overwrote the wrong lineup - basically lit a couple hundred dollars on fire. ****.
