Default Bills fire offensive coordinator Rick Dennison after playoff loss

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills on Friday fired offensive coordinator Rick Dennison, the team announced.

The Bills finished 29th in average yards per game (302.6) and were tied for 24th in offensive points scored (17.6) this season. Buffalo finished with a 9-7 record and lost 10-3 in an AFC wild-card game to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

"We're not satisfied with the whole offense, and it wasn't just about [quarterback] Tyrod [Taylor]," general manager Brandon Beane said Tuesday. "There's a lot of hands in the cookie jar, so to speak, and [coach] Sean [McDermott] and I, we're going to talk about everything, and we know we have to get better on offense, on defense, on special teams. We are far from a finished product."

Guess we can say what Rico would do when he got his first shot as full time play caller.

Default Alabama's Brian Daboll joining Sean McDermott's staff as Bills' OC

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills hired Brian Daboll to be their offensive coordinator, the team announced Sunday.

Daboll spent last season at Alabama, where he led the Crimson Tide's offense to a national championship.

"Brian did a tremendous job for us this past season at Alabama, and I know he will do a great job for the Buffalo Bills. He is an outstanding coach and coordinator who put us in position to be successful each week. We appreciate all that he did in terms of his time and his dedication in contributing to the success we had this season," Alabama coach Nick Saban said in a statement.

And to think, people want this guy as our HEAD coach. Lol.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.
