Deathly unforced errors/penalties, poor protection, and crappy play calling.

I watched the game on delay. For once, I'm glad I knew the score before I watched the game.

Not often you hear a commentator calling out refs several drives after the fact. Especially for calls no worse than they shrugged off or even applauded in the same game.

But really I think a lot of NFL media is so invested in the Mahomes Messiah narrative that they find themselves having to make excuses when such a flawed team gets exposed.

Except the "awful" Steelers who handled them week one IN Buffalo. This season is crazy so far, but I am glad the Bills embarrassed The Chiefs at Arrowhead. I'm just holding my breath until the BYE week in regards to the Broncos. Just too much stuff in the air right now the league is taking forever to settle this season.

Yesterdays game was disappointing but not unexpected. They aren't a good enough team to overcome injuries and mistakes like they were dealing with yesterday but that was a winnable game. On to Las Vegas!

#Broncos Fangio said offense needs to improve. He has no qualms with Shurmur, but results need to be better. "We have to coach better. I have to do better." Broncos averaging 20 points per game and rank last in third down conversion rate. Neither is acceptable if want to contend.
