I kind of assume he is that travesty. His sideline demeanor just radiates toxicity. It was a bad restructure, and a bad trade. What else is new? I love Elway but Lock is the first thing he's done right regarding QB's since Manning. I mean, we're the franchise who thought Keenum was going to be solid.
How so? You're on record saying ~ playoffs or tank. So, if that's the case, why would it be smart to keep Flacco?
It defies your own logic. If Lock goes down we want the worst, shittiest backup that ever lived to come in and lose every game to help out our draft position.
Right?
Granted, that could be Flacco, but it could also be anyone else for less money
If we cut him, we only owe what his his 2019 salary would have been, so the restructure doesn't matter. It just pushed part of money next year. It doesn't cost the Broncos anything extra. However, and I might be wrong on this, if they kept him they would also owe his original 2020 salary...so, cut bait. Let me see if I can find the article that explains it much better.

Flaccos remaining salary is nothing compared to the revelation of Lock. His low 2nd rd salary will provide them massive savings for a few years.
No reason to even have him on the sidelines.
Dude is as good as gone.
