Thread: Who has homes with split fan loyalties?

OK - how many of you have fans of different teams living in your home or in your family?

I'll start: (we all live pretty close together so we throw a lot of party's on Sunday... so it gets quite interesting on sundays in my house hold.

1. Me: Broncos fan
2. Fiancé: Broncos fan
3. future Father in-law: Far weather fan...says he likes the Vikings, Pats, Seahawks, Packers, Steelers, and Giants
4. future Mother in-law: Eagles fan
5. future Sister in-law: Eagles fan
6. future Brother in-law#1: Eagles fan
7. future Brother in-law#2: Cowboys fan

Wife used to be a Raiders fan. Her dad still is. We dont get along well.

Let's see:

Me: Broncos
Dad: Saints, fair-weather for the Broncos
The rest of my father's side: Saints.
Grandfather on mother's side: Saints, but not hardcore fan of any type (lived in LA)
Uncle: Chargers
Other Uncle: Saints/Chargers

Kinda weird, but not too much hostility (except for a few select games).

i'm broncos and my roommate is a bears fan. check this though:


he loves it lol.

gotta give him props, an 8x2 banner of another team in my house would drive me to violent means.

as a compromise we have a bears poster in the hallway lol.


as far as my family goes, we are an orange and blue household. most of my extended family is in denver too, so there's not a lot of opposing opinions. one browns fan married in, but even he seems to realize how lame that is.

We're Broncos fans. When I grew up there was no such other thing.

Mother: New Orleans Saints (Knows a little about football, but always liked their jerseys and helmets.)

Father: Ex-Minnesota Vikings Fan (Years of disappointment and being placed on suicide watch after the loss to the Falcons just about did it) now he's a self-professed Cowboy and Patriot hater. He's always thought Denver was cool though.)

Step Mom: Denver Broncos and Dallas Cowboys (How the Hell does this work?)

Sister and her family: Green Bay Packers (Die hards, go to training camps, chase down players in SUV's for autographs.)

Grandfather: Minnesota Vikings (Longs for the days of Moss and Culpepper again; whom he calls Dante Coldpecker.)

Grandmother: No Team (Enjoys football on the Holidays, but would rather play Neopets.)

One of my uncles who is in Arizona is obviously a Cardinals fan, another is a Denver fan, and one is a Steelers fan.

Lots of different teams.

Me: Obviously Broncos
Bro: Broncos
Mom: Broncos
Dad: Broncos
Sister: Broncos
Brother in Law: Broncos

Me: Broncos
Wife: Broncos
Kids: 1-Broncos, 1-Rams, 1-Panthers
Dad: Jets
In-laws: Eagles

Me "AWizK": Broncos
Cat 1 "Tigon": No sports whatsoever
Cat 2 "Makoto": Fetching those little fake mice
Kangaroo Rat "The Rat": Running in his wheel


hahaha just being funny!!!! My entire family is BRONCOS FANS!!!! Mom, Dad, Sis, Neice, Nephew, Cousins, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt, Uncle, Etc......

So, I guess it's just me and my dad

Denver all the way on my dad's side. Everyone on my mother's side is fragmented.

Me, Father - Raiders
Wife - Cowboys
Father-in-law - Giants
Sister-in-laws (3) - Giants (2), Jets (1)
Brother-in-law - Giants
Grandmother - Dolphins, including a lot of her family in Florida.
Closest cousins (3) - Rams, Cowboys & Giants
Grandfather - No loyalty, but his nephew, my cousin, played in the NFL and was a coach. But my grandfather is a Raider hater just to bust me and my dad's chops.

Best friends: Mostly Giants or Jets with 1 Dolphin fan.

By the way, these people don't all live in our house.
