I am happy with the way it is here without the "bars". I will make my determinations based on interaction as WTM said.

I do not miss all the cp garbage one iota.

I personally miss the old rep bars like the freak had, and if somebody started a "poll" I would bet the results would be very close, as I'd bet many of the "new" members here would be for it. Not that it's a big deal, just something to think about.

In the end, it wasn't meaningful in any way, but the friendships were.

yep-- i was in the top five over there in CP count, and it meant nothing to me. . . .

Its not about popularity with the rep system. It is about knowing who is credible and knowledgeable . I'm going to take someone who has no rep with a grain of salt. It's something that is needed in all boards. Why not get rid of how many posts a person has? What does that have to do with anything then?

If we do not have a rep system, I think we should get rid of how many posts a person has.

Sure some have created acounts here, but never come here . I feel too many are wrapped up in the whole CP thing.

I also feel that the good ones are here. They can have the rest...
There are still a few good ones I would like to see be regulars here but in time they will probably come around.

Anyway, what's the cp system even worth to anybody once you have 100 all pros thinking they are king of the hill...

I love what we have in place here now and the best part is, we have a voice in all of it!

Exactly...400 members is like a small small town in Iowa or something. Everybody knows everybody.

And if its hard to find "credible" posters ask some of your former freaks who they are.

WTM, perhaps he should define "credible". I know I've posted full of you know what many times. It just feels so 'natural'.

Well if you want all kinds of CP's, orange bars, and that blinding white background, then BM is the place for you.

If you want to know who is credible and knowledgeable then do what Jr says, spend more time here. This place is about discussing topics from the Broncos and the NFL to pretty much anything else. Members will be able to give you a "Mile High Salute" or "High Five" your post if they like what you said.

As Tned said, there has been a discussion on this and as you can see we like it the way it is.
