I really like the acoustic interludes during "Jesus Frankenstein".
They were well placed and added a added dimension to Zombie's
work. Pretty solid song overall to me. Songs "Sick Bubblegum"
and "What" are so-so, nothing that great to me. The 4th track
"Mars needs Women" starts out wonderfully with the acoustic
intro giving it an almost Joe Walsh "Confessor" type of feeling
which i really enjoyed. Unfortuantely, the rest of the song doesnt
live up to the potential. The song "Werewolf, Baby" is pretty good
and a solid track. Now this is what im talking about, "Virgin Witch"
is thus far the best track on here. Very dark atmosphere and crunching
guitar work. Um, "Dream Factory" ill pass. The song "Burn" is pretty cool,
good guitar technique. Solid track. The next song "Cease to Exist" is ok
but again nothing that special. Out of the last two tracks "Werewolf Women
of the SS" and The Man Who Laughs" i dig the latter much better. Better
written song in my opinion. Overall, im not blown away by this album but
i can tell Zombie is maturing and trying to add new elements but still has a
way to go in my opinion before i can call any of his albums great.
