    Default 2010 LB Prospect Thread

Spikes, McClain and Norwood are at the top of my list. More in depth assessments to come...

Spikes is the man I'd like to see replace Andre Davis. He has the skills and leadership ability to be a pro bowl LB at the next level.

I am not sure how long Davis was signed for, but he is having a quality year. I think we can use some depth at ILB, perhaps another prospect; but I'm not sure if we're obliged for taking one in round one.

Spikes is probably the most talented of the bunch but his character concerns me a bit. So, if i had to choose at this moment i would take Selvie because he doesnt have nearly the amount of talent around him and makes plays all the time.

I don't know where we will draft, but passing on Rolando McClain if he is availble for us would be huge mistake IMHO. He is a physical freak who gets the job done on the field. He won't simply be a workout warrior. I don't hate our current ILBs, but ya can't pass on a talent like his.

I think Selvie is a future bust at the next level. He's not strong enough to help in run support and he hasn't played in space his whole career at USF to be an OLB. That's one dude i'd really like to stay away from.

And I don't know if anyone watched the Iron Bowl this past week but Rolando McClain is the QB of the defense. When Auburn would change the play at the line, he'd change the entire defense. He is a beast and projects better at the next level then Spikes.

But when he plays top talent...he gets owned. Go back and see what he did against Rutgers.

If you find anything... let me know

What are your thoughts on Von Miller? I know he's a Jr. who lived in opponents backfeilds all season, but i've only seen A&M play twice. Once early in the season against Ark. and then just recently against Texas. Kid put up some big numbers.
