Default Chargers ban half their fan base

Chargers | Team cancels accounts of disruptive fans
    Fri, 1 Feb 2008 12:58:52 -0800

The San Diego Chargers announced Friday, Feb. 1, that more than 300 season tickets are being cancelled due to violations of the team's code of conduct for home games. These season ticket holders will no longer be able to purchase tickets from the team. Most cases involved season ticket holders who were escorted from the stadium by the San Diego Police Department and the team's private security officials in 2006 and 2007.

LMFAO! Seriously though this crap is getting out of hand. I think the NFL just want rich old folks at the games.
Thanks MO for the wicked Sig.

I'm just glad they have so many bandwagoners so the team doesn't have to relocate.

No, that does not bother me. Now if you were to slowly approach me, put your amrs on my shoulders, gently rubbing the back of my hair while you breathed those words into my mouth, then we'd have to take it outside. The last guy that did that, I learned him good.

Let's see, the Bolts had about 65000 season ticket holders last year, and they kicked out 300 which is less the one half of one percent. I'm guessing those 300 were unruly Raider fans, which is unfortunate because I liked watching them leave the stadium looking depressed after another beat down.

65,000 season ticket holders huh? Even if that was true... only 600 of those ticket holders were probably true Charger fans... I'm talking fans that have stuck with the Chargers from day one. And don't tell me that they are all Charger fans because till lately you couldn't even sell out a home game.

Qualcomms capacity is 71,000. I HIGHLY doubt that 65,000 of those seats are already purchased for each game by season ticket holders.

According to this, they claim about 65,000...

*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

    I read it as

"Fabiani said the team is selling about 30 season tickets a day, and that the number of season tickets sold has increased from 34,000 in 2004 to more than 62,000 today. He said the team has about 4,000 more tickets to sell."

Actually this year they were able to sell all of their season tickets before the season started and didn't have to resort to selling those lousy mini packages. They use to force anyone buying a ticket to the Raiders game to purchase another game and a pre-season game as well. I guess they declared the bandwagon as officially full.

And, according to the Chargers, everybody on their team played with a broken leg, torn acl or a bruised vagina.

This 65,000 season ticket holders sounds like more Charger Propaganda, if it were true, it took them a week to BARELY sell the other 6,000 seats for a PLAYOFF game......
