i see bradford as a Kyle Orton clone. Bradford may have a bit better of a arm though. Hardly any pocket awareness out of him. Although he does have what i think mcd likes in Brains and Accuracy.

with urban meyer stepping down at florida, i'm betting we'll see more gators underclassmen declaring. . .
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
Would anyone be surprised with Dez Bryant? With the rest of our WR corps not producing adding another primary target would be smart. Also Royal may be best suited for the return game and slot back. Opinions?
surprised? not particularly. . . disappointed? yea. . . we currently have plenty of receiving options that we can't or won't get the ball to. . . maybe guys like royal and scheffler just completely forgot how to get open after shanahan and cutler left, but that seems like an oversimplification to me. . .
not that adding talent is ever bad, but IMO taking bryant doesn't make a whole lot of sense unless we're not planning to keep marshall. . . right now i'd rank our needs somewhat, approximately like this:
1. center
2. defensive end
3. OG
4. quarterback
5. cornerback
6. ILB
7. nosetackle
doesn't mean we have to draft in that order of course, or even to fill all of those positions-- and that list will probably look different after free agency. . .
the only real similarities i see are that they both play quarterback. . . .

G is the biggest need we have follwed by center, then QB and RDE in my opinion....
we really need to foucs on those 3 positions for rds 1-3 if possible....i always like BPA but damn those are big needs we have.....
we are looking at a minumum of 1 new tackle, 2 OG and a center this offseason thats with weigman and hochstein staying....
kuper will be a restricted free agent unless a new CBA is signed, so we should only need one OG unless somebody signs him away from us. . . and we also have seth olsen, who may be ready to compete for a starting position next year-- and if he is, hockstein is a serviceable backup. . . OTOH, i think weigman needs replaced immediately, and we have no one behind him. . . you can debate it either way, but i see center as the more pressing need of the two. . . doesn't really matter, though-- i think pretty much everyone will agree that the interior OL obviously needs addressed, preferably with several selections. . .

UCLA's Price declaring

"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers
They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

Any word on the Pouncey twins coming out this year? Those 2 would shore up this O-line in a hurry.
