Default The Worst Beer in America

In honor of Coach's birthday, lets settle this argument once and for all. What is in fact the worst American beer? The choices are

    Budweiser
    Miller
    Natty Ice
    Old Milwaukee
    Pabst Blue Ribbon
    Piels Real Draft
    Coor’s Light
    Schlitz
    Milwaukee’s Best
That fancy overpriced crap that Dogfish, Coachchaz, Dreadnought, and Elsid drink

Well, for once I'm not on the beer snob list. Probably due to my limited selection here in Oklahoma.

I vote for Old Milwaukee, but to be honest, a lot of those would be difficult to differentiate in a blind-fold taste test.

i said PBR cause i had to work at the recycling center and was elbows deep in nothing but old, stale, still half-full PBR cans for longer than it took me to grow to hate that shit.

Going with Milwaukee's Best here, but I've heard absolutely horrifying things about Cave Creek Chili Beer.

That list may as well read "what smells worse?...horse shit, dogshit, bullshit, cowshit, monkey shit..."

it's almost impossible for me to choose one of those to be the worst

Hmmmm . . . with some of those brands, it depends. For instance, Miller High Life
will do in a pinch, but their Draft is good, yet Miller Lite is glorified sparkling
water. Same with Coors: their regular (Banquet) beer is among the best, IMO,
but I don't have much use for Coors Light.

Schlitz is among the best of them, IMO. One of the best I've tasted among
American beers is Hamm's Draft. But I haven't seen that around for a long time,
    now.

    And Milwaukee's Worst is just nasty . . .

I went Natural Ice, but Milwaukee is a close second. If you enjoy drinking light piss, go for it. Ever since JL Beers opened up here, I've been able to have some nice drinks. Thank God.

I voted for Schlitz. If Hamms or Schmidts was on the list they would have gotten my vote. I've heard old Milwaukee is pretty bad, but have honestly never had one.

Ok...I finally voted. It took awhile, but then it dawned on me that the poll is which BEER tastes worse. Since I couldnt really choose which BEER tastes worse, i went with the one on the list that doesnt even qualify as actual BEER.

    Coor's Light got my vote.

If I want to drink bad water, I'll just go to the sink

I like all the beers listed. Id have to say that Sam Adams Boston lager is right up there with ear wax as the worst thing ive ever tasted.
Thanks MO for the wicked Sig.

    A) I am not shocked.

    B) Have you done a side by side taste test comparison?

Whe I was in High School Miller ponies mainly existed to get girls who didn't like beer all that much to take off their clothes. I don't know the preferred method for today's youth, but I'd guess its similar

No, I avoid both like the plague. I could stomach SA's if I had to but, Id almost rather be a sober driver. I might drink wine coolers before I drank that stuff.
