Okay, quick update on the Father visit!

It rained yesterday. It was raining when Dad landed, held up when we got the car. By the time we go for dinner, torrential rain. Flooded streets. And of course some arse decides that driving fast through a big puddle right by those pedestrians, would be amusing. Not.

Great dinner though, and Dad got to meet a mate of mine!

This morning, after paying my rent, we go to tour Gibraltar, to find the car was towed. Too long in a pick-up area. fine overnight, but we pushed it too far. 120 Euros later, and a bit of a wlak around town, we had the car.

Big queue into Gib! Up the Rock, in stinking hot, humid weather. Great views, and cool pictures though. Found where the dog kennels are. Rang the guy, and he said he'd call back. Dad did the cable car thing, while I shot into work to grab some stuff.

Huge queue to leave Gib. Got a bit of rest before going to dinner, but then was told I had to take the dogs into Gib, as the guy couldn't collect them! So I have to drive back up the Rock. Molly got carsick.

Back down the Rock, get Dad and went to dinner. That was great, he got to meet my friends, and have a few drinks.

Bag is packed, Father wants to leave early, and I'm taking advantage of a wee bit of time to update y'all!

Anyway I just wanted to say hello to everyone and see what's going on.

It should be good. We had to enter a lottery which we didn't win but alot of people decided they didn't want the tickets anymore so we got them. Giants stadium is about 3 hours from my house.
