Best backhand I've seen in a long time.

I love both of them. Roger is just heavenly to watch. No one plays more beautiful.

I recognize Roger's greatness, but I was all in with Andy and Roger stood in the way. Every damn time.

Nishikori has a HUGE new fan.

Dimitrov and Monfils tomorrow. Go Monfils!

Murray/Djoker is looking at being the best match so far.

That Nishikori match Monday was something else. I didn't watch his comeback five-setter today. But, yeah, two brilliant sets that had just about everything. Set up for late night epicness at the Open.

Andy has hit some monster winners thus far. That was a crazy forehand to get to 1-1 in the third.

Sad he's out, but no shame in his perfomance.
In fact it's been a slam of taking steps in the right direction, beating a top tenner for the first time since winning Wimbledon and playing pretty awesome tennis v the Joker at times from what I heard. I was asleep for most of the match and only caught the latter part of the fourth set.

Federer v Monfils is a tasty prospect.

I love Monfils to death, but he does not seem to have the killer instinct, dedication, passion that Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic have. He is fun and original and refreshing, but he's so damn talented that he should really be competing in quarters and semis MUCH more often. Del Potro's achilles heel is injuries, but Monfils' is himself. Fun, original, and refreshing do not make a champion.

Between this and the womens final, this might be the most boring US Open ever.

At least I don't have to switch channels back and forth from MNF to the U.S. Open.

    My guy laid an egg.
