Thread: Brutal Legend

Has anyone played this game? I played the demo last night and it was pure entertainment. The gameplay seems to be fine and enjoyable...just your basic action game stuff for the most part...but the real entertaining part about it is the story, the atmosphere, the graphics/environments, the cutscenes, the stupid jokes the characters say as you are playing and how it all ties together. It was the most fun I've had playing a demo in a while.

I was wondering if anyone has played the full version of this game and if the game stays fresh throughout or if it becomes monotonous like many action games seem to. I'm considering buying this, but just wanted to get some opinions of anyone that has played it first.

I just hate Jack Back. Dude is so not funny to me.

His best in a film was Bruce Willis blow his arm off in The Jackal.

I heard it was pretty good, but little to no replay value. If you see it used, I'd say go for it. It'll probably be a greatest hits title eventually.

There is a slew of better games to play right now.

Hmm...dunno how I ended up with duplicate posts there lol.

Anyway, I posted a quick review in the "last game you played and rate it" thread, but in short, it's original, fun, but repetitive. Definitely worth a rental though, especially if you like metal.
