BTW, did you see at the end, back when the camera flips back to the scene at Coney Island, where supposedly something falls from the sky? I didn't see it when I saw the movie, but I checked on Youtube and it's still iffy.

I saw it when I was watching it in the theatres.... just happened to be looking the right place

I was thinking ... here's a lot of water, something's going to happen ... and then on the right side of the screen.... something landed in the water. I saw it, my buddy didn't... It's not like the movie announced it or anything...

But it was a hell of a movie.

Yea, after i read a review after watching it someone mentioned the last seen on videotape and that explained everything i needed to know.

Saw it. Liked it. The monster was well done.

That movie was BA. I bought it, watched it a couple times with the volume up pretty loud (makes a difference with the 5.1 DTS). My daughters loved it too (10 & 8 yrs old). Hope they come out with a 2nd one, maybe an actual movie format, not home video... either way, I'm sure they'll do something cool.

i was super pumped about this with the initial teaser trailers, but then the full trailers made me think it was going to be stupid. i just watched it and liked it quite a bit.

About the sequel, there's a rumor that stems from the first movie. Apparently, as the guy with the camera goes through one of those running scenes where barely anything is visible, the camera shows another person with a video camera, which could very well be the second installment.

Hopefully the next one is more final about if it is actually defeated, and more on the monster's past is offered.

the monster didn't die.

at the end there is a sound which internet guys have reversed and it says, "it's still alive"

As for all movies, I fell asleep, and didnt catch the end............

i liked that about it too. the movie takes you on the same ride taht the characters are forced to take, only you don't die and they all do.

the movie had great tension, and i think it developed the characters pretty well with what limited chances they had after the shit went down.

Worst movie i ever seen!!!!!!

I saw several parts of the movie, and I was amused at how the whole thing was filmed.
