It's embarrasing how long it's been. Kids are cramping my style.

I can't remember the last concert I went to.

I'm going to see a Sublime tribute band for my birthday at House of Blues. Does that count as a real concert?

Only if you don't practice Santeria.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

I hope they come back around now that they've reunited (well, some of them anyway)...

I watched alot of their Rock Am Ring set on YouTube and they sound good... Billy is still a bit of an ass, but he makes good music, so I can get over that.

    Hell yeah that counts...

My friend actually sat in a hot tub in new mexico with bradley nowell before he died... Said he was a pretty laid back dude-- you'll have to let me know how the tribute band is...

I saw them at Lolapalooza in 1993, at least I think it was 1993. That was a good day.

    I will. I love Sublime.

The name of the band is Bad Fish. I haven't heard or read anything about them but my wife saw them on the House of Blues website and ordered the tickets because of my love of Sublime.

    Tori Amos and Ben Folds.

    2003 or 2004?

Folds is a funny, foul mouthed guy. Interesting melodies.

Amos is more cryptic, and I find her music avant-garde at times, but she is one hell of a piano player.

    It was a date.
What shall we do with all this useless beauty?

I saw John Legend play in Des Moines at an Obama rally (no, I'm not voting for the guy, I just went for the hell of it). Before that, I went to a Blue Oyster Cult and Kid Rock concert at the Sturgis Rally. Lots of hippies with those crowds.

WoW! Some of those pics and Band listings take me back. I've seen Poisin, Tesla opened for them and Queensryche who opened for Ozzy.

    Y & T ??, lol i have'nt heard that Band mentioned in decades. I still have that on cassette ... somewhere ...
