Thread: Se la vie

Maybe this comment belongs in the thread about making the rules (not that we really have that power as anyone from the Freak can attest based on recent happenings) and it's not a personal vendetta...just a viewpoint that will eventually affect others, if it hasn't already.

Inevitably, I will be banned from this site. So, before it happens, I just wanted to say that I appreciate those that understand the humor and sarcasm in some of my comments. For those of you that don't get it and insist on complaining about it, I do respect you, but also feel bad for you. I couldn't imagine a life where I got offended by everything I read or saw.

I enjoy this site very much, but ultimately it's just another conformist to unwritten social standards. Maybe it's a drawback of having an open mind to not be able to understand how 1 or 2 tightass complaintants out of 100 or so people are able to set the standards and the rules. If that statement offends you, then my point is proven.

So, I'm going to continue to be me and say the things I say and watch mods delete my posts no matter how commonly they are used in the real world and amongst us friends. Eventually, the warnings will turn into a banning. It's just a matter of time, so I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

If everyone really wants this site to be a home and a friendly place, we have to find a way to make it ours and decide what we appreciate and what we don't. If the standards here are going to be equalled to that of the FCC, then we are all screwed. The smug and easily offended portion of the gene pool will win agian.

My thoughts EXACTLY...but people seem to be so concerned about bringing in new members and concerned for the imaginary 13 year olds that post here to let us make this place home. Oh well.

If there are 13 year olds spending time on here they are losers. and will naver have sex, or friends, and probably be to shy and wtihdrawn to vote and be a productive member of society. So I say we dont take them into account.

As for the lounge, If anyone gets butt hurt, there is the back button. There is was one whiner that irritates the hell out of me Coach, and I would be happy if they learned to deal with it or went somewhere else.

I got into trouble the other day to. Apparently me saying that I fell down while running and I broke my boner is bad. I think Zweems was the one that complained since he cant get one.

I used the term "fuq buddy" the other day and had that post deleted with an explanation that there was a difference between a girlfriend and a fuq buddy. Somehow, I knew that before I posted it. Otherwise, I might have said girlfriend. How the hell do you get offended by a term like that?

**** buddy = call when horny, no risk of marriage.

Well, those people either live very sheltered lives or have one themselves and decide to deny the fact that they don't know what they are so that their snoopy wife/husband who browses this website from time to time doesn't get any ideas.
