Thread: Gonna be MIA for a couple of weeks

Been kinda in and out the past week or so with posting because of work. I just got back from DC (again) and later in the weekend I'm leaving on what's called an "iron swap". Being an FCC (Flying Crew Chief), part of my job includes flying with planes as their mechanic when they go away from home station. I'm crewing a plane over to the Middle East to bring another plane home.

I'll be gone 2-3 weeks, depending on how well the planes cooperate. We'll be stopping in some pretty awesome places on the way to stay over night and get gas to include Iceland and Crete (Greece).

I'm actually not looking forward to going just because I won't get to spend Thanksgiving with the wife, but the money will be good and it'll be good to get out of Texas and out of the States for a while.

Have fun on your sky cruise!! My family and I will be in Rapid City for T-day. I'm trying to talk my wife in letting me and my buddy head 5 more hours to the Denver game....so far I'm losing!!
