Default Your top 5 draft wish list

Every year we all talk about what college players we like on whatever teams. We say over and over again who we wouldn't mind seeing wear that orange and blue Broncos jersey. Then 3 years down the road everyone says, Oh I wanted him or I didn't want him... well here is a thread to prove it. Lets see who gets their guy or guys... You can only post your guys once... no changing your mind, so make your first post count: Post who you want:

If you could have any 5 guys in the draft who would they be?

I have too many man crushes on runningbacks... last year it was just one though, this year I can't help myself. Next year I think I will have a man crush on receivers.

On your scale of 1-10 Boss what do you think this years crop of draftees looks like? I mean, last year was ok, but the year before had some great Talent.

    Overall, not too good...

I don't see very many elite players

but as for good to average talent we are looking at a really deep draft. There will be some good solid players slide farther than if they waited till next year, that's for sure.

That sucks for the # 12 pick, but good for the 2,4a. 4b. etc.......... We need quality depth, hopefully we can work out a # 2-3 with gold and walker somehow.

I am concerned with ST's man, this is such a huge problem for us. Nowhere to go but up I guess.

That's why I think drafting an offensive lineman with the 12th pick doesn't make sense. There is a huge drop off from Jake Long to Ryan Clady, and Jake Long isn't that special himself. Glenn Dorsey, Chris Long, and Darren McFadden are your elite prospects. Then if you look at the top 25 prospects, if it wasn't for the juniors coming our early this year would stink. Most of the top prospects will be juniors.

I agree OT wise. So we are best trading back even to next year In your opinion? I think the latter round RB's are deep, if we could get rid of this years #1 for next years, and add a #2 or #3 to boot I would be down. I hope to God we get some more budding stars this draft, high character guys.

My wish is for Denver to not even target a high pick, and trade way down and accumulate selections between the second and fourth rounds and get a jump on the excellent value available. We have a nice set up going in rounds four and five, but we need a third and could use another second or so. Get those, and we're in for a real treat!

I'd be fine with that personally. And i've never been in favor of trading back.

But we have a number of needs and not enough picks in my opinion. If that means sliding back some to pick up more, especially to get back into the 3rd round ... then do it. This Draft is stacked with alot of quality players in areas we need.

If we don't, we're still sitting at #12 with a great shot at an impact player so it's all good ...
